Admissions    Registration at Liv2Dance Studio is a 10-month commitment from September –June. Students enrolling after September will have commitment prorated from the month of enrollment-June. Class sizes are limited to ensure an excellent teacher to student ratio. Registration is ongoing, and according to availability.

Attendance Policy    Attendance is vital to success and improvement in dance. Proper attendance is required by all students. Personal progress and classroom achievement will be a reflection of this. Please use your best judgment if your child has been ill when sending him/her to class. Please do not bring your child to class if he/she is contagious in any way. Students who are absent for more than two (2) consecutive weeks without contacting the dance studio, may forfeit their place in the class. All advanced payments are absolutely non refundable. Please remember to call if you will be unable to attend a lesson. 

Dress Code     In order to maintain a professional dance training environment, the following dress code is in place for all students of Liv2Dance Studio. Students are expected to wear proper dance shoes and dance attire at all times during class. The following rules must be followed by all students of Liv2Dance Studio: No Jeans or Jean Shorts in class, No Bulky or Oversized T-Shirts or Sweaters, No Dangling Jewelry, No Dancing in Socks, No Buttons, Drawstrings or Zippers.  Extra Clothing or Cover-Ups may be worn in class at the instructors discretion. Hair must be neatly pulled back away from the face at all times.

Emergency Closings    In the event of bad weather or other emergency situations, please call the studio to check if there will be classes held or not. In the event we must close due to snow or other emergency situation, no refunds will be made. Make-up classes will be allowed within 4 weeks of the emergency closing.

Make-Up Classes Keeping in mind that a lesson can never be duplicated, make-up classes may be taken for absences. If a student is absent, he or she may make up their class in another class in the same level within 2 weeks of the absence. Make-up classes cannot be taken in advance of a child’s absence. Students may only make-up a maximum of 4 classes per year. Please call to schedule an appropriate make-up class for each student. Refunds of tuition will not be given due to excessive absence or illness.

Recital When you sign up for classes at Liv2Dance Studio, we assume that you will be participating in all performances of our June recital.  If you choose not to participate in the June recital, notification must be given before December 1^st. All choreography will be set on all the dances and participation in both shows is mandatory if notification is not given. On December 1^st you will be required to sign a written confirmation of recital participation. We must have the required signed participation contract when the costumes are ordered. A $75. Costume Deposit per class will be due by December 1^st the latest for Year End Performance costumes. Costume balances will be individually determined and must be paid no later than February 15th. Over-payment of costume deposits will be credited toward tuition balances.

Studio Closings    Liv2Dance Studio will operate on the same calendar as the New York City Public School System for holiday and weather related studio closings. Please call the studio if you are unsure.
